“Attracted by the technique of drawing since always, I strive in my artistic practice to update drawing in a contemporaneity that is ours, to raise it as a finished work and no longer as a sketch, draft or preparatory study. To do this I use the material-light and therefore attempt to draw the light in the experimentation of an exacerbated graphic technique.

The authenticity of the drawing is continually questioned regarding the processes of its (re)production (the traditional pencil/paper, offset printing, photographic processes, photocopying, laser engraving, video, different digital techniques… ).

It is not uncommon for my work to arise from the perspective of social and political phenomena and current events, approached in a factual, poetic, aesthetic manner… The desire to unite poetic and political, in an abstract whisper , opens up a whole questioning about the function of art beyond its aesthetics.”

« Attirée par la technique du dessin depuis toujours, je m’efforce dans ma pratique artistique d’actualiser le dessin dans une contemporanéité qui est la nôtre, le hisser comme œuvre finie et non plus comme esquisse, ébauche ou étude préparatoire. Pour ce faire j’utilise la matière-lumière et tente de ce fait de dessiner la lumière dans l’expérimentation d’une technique graphique exacerbée.
L’authenticité du dessin est continuellement questionnée quant aux procédés de sa (re)production (le traditionnel crayon/papier, l’impression offset, les procédés photographiques, la photocopie, la gravure laser, la vidéo, les différentes techniques numériques…).
Il n’est pas rare que mon travail naisse au regard des phénomènes sociaux, politiques, de l’actualité en train de se faire… La volonté d’unir poétique et politique, dans un chuchotement abstrait, ouvre tout un questionnement sur la fonction de l’art au-delà de son esthétisme.»
